The Bay Area Council on Drugs & Alcohol (BACODA) is once again raising awareness of the tragic loss of life caused by Texans who drive while impaired by drugs and alcohol. 1,498 United States flags will fly at Nessler Park in memory of the victims killed in Texas in alcohol related motor-vehicle crashes during 2012. BACODA’s 6th annual Healing Field® presents a somber formation of flags expressing the magnitude of tragedy that must first to recognized to be reduced. |
Each flag has a story and relates the heartbreak of family and friend. Please join us and walk this awe inspiring display. This is the perfect opportunity for all of us to unite as a community. |
