The Tempe Exchange Club continues a cherished tradition spanning more than ten years as they host their 11th Annual Healing Field® flag display for residents of the greater Phoenix area.   Began in 2003, this striking memorial of 3,000 U.S. flags reappears annually at Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway to remember and honor the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks.  Identified by an attached card listing a name and brief  biographical information, each flag honors a person lost when four highjacked airliners slammed into three buildings and field. The magnitude of the loss, however, is presented by an uplifting and healing panorama of flags flying against the blue of Arizona skies.

Visitors may walk through the ordered rows of flags posted in solemn tribute at Tempe Beach Park from the 10th through the 15th of September. Visiting the field is an experience never to be forgotten, and each year the event offers many opportunities for sponsors, volunteers and visitors to experience an indescribable tribute.

All online flag sponsorships have discontinued for the 2014 year.
Thank You for your support!
See you next year!
