This “Field of Honor® is the 2^nd Annual in this area and will be located 10 Federal Self Storage 1061 S Wesleyan Blvd., Rocky Mount, NC 27886.

The Sharpsburg Exchange Club and the VFW Post 2057 will host this event that will display 380 US flags waving proudly atop 7 ½ -foot poles as a moving tribute to honor all Heroes.

The Stars & Stripes reminds us of who we are as a people. Americans meet the challenges of history and overcome hardships becoming stronger. That is just who we are. The United States flag represents our solidarity in creating a brighter tomorrow and uniting us all.

Flags are available for sponsorship at $50 each and may be taken home Sunday afternoon and flown proudly in your yard as to continue the tribute.    Any flags that are not picked up Sunday afternoon, you can pick them up at the Sharpsburg Exchange Club.  Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks.  To volunteer, please call Joyce Finn at (252) 977-3719.
