Veteran’s Day is a major event in our Northern Utah community as we Stand as One to honor our veterans and active duty service members.
Members of the U.S. military stand daily formations at home and overseas in ceremonies honoring their units, their organizations and the nation. The U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum annually posts United States flags in a formation on its Parade Grounds to honor the men and women of our Armed Forces who honor the Stars & Stripes through their service. It is fitting that our flag should honor those who have honored the flag.
The 21st Anniversary of 9.11 will be honored by hundreds of United States flags will fly on the lawns of Wayne Community College in A Tribute to Service Above Self, as Goldsboro Rotarians bring their 3rd Annual Field of Honor® flag display to the heart of eastern North Carolina.
