Each year the Carl A. Schelin Post 1271 of Tappan, NY, in partnership with the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan and the Tappan Reformed Church, recognize our fallen veterans and active servicemen and women.
This year, this partnership has expanded with the support of the Colonial Flag Foundation® and the Field of Honor® by creating an awe-inspiring panorama of US flags.
We recognize members of our armed forces serving at home and around the world as heroes, and certainly those who sacrificed their lives defending our nation qualify as heroes.
Come celebrate Urbana’s 6th Annual Field of Honor® display of United States Flags brings volunteers, residents and visitors together as hundreds of flags are posted at Mercy Hospital. This inspiring and memorable display panorama of red, white and blue is hard to describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten.
