Traffic traveling along Graves Mill Road will see an explosion of red, white & blue during the first-half of November as the Rotary Club of Forest posts 1,000 United States flags on the grassy field in front of the Automated Conveyor Systems building and next to Bausch and Lomb’s facility.
An inspiring vista of red, white & blue will appear over the Independence Day weekend along Airport Boulevard in Mount Comfort.
The Exchange Club of Daniel Island will transform a lawn by River Landing Drive to a sea of red, white and blue as members join with volunteers in posting over 650 United States Flags to honor those who through the actions have added honor to the Stars & Stripes.
“That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States.” With the passage of almost two and a half centuries, the ranks of American Heroes have swelled with many who through their lives and deeds have built and preserved our communities and nation.
The display of 1,000 flags creates the most obvious visible impact, not only for visitors to the field but also for those who drive past along Graves Mill Road.
