This Memorial Day, from May 23-26, the Westerville Sports Complex will be transformed into the Westerville Field of Honor® flag display, featuring 3,000 United States flags flying over its rolling green lawns. Walking among the ordered rows of flags provides visitors with a deeply inspiring visual and emotional experience that is hard to describe but unforgettable. This year, we will honor active-duty military personnel, fallen servicemen and women, first responders, educators, essential workers, and heroes in our lives, including veterans and hometown heroes.

The panorama of red, white, and blue serves as a poignant reminder of the true meaning of Memorial Day—a day to remember and honor our military, veterans, and all heroes who serve and sacrifice to defend and protect us.

There is no charge to visit this awe-inspiring display; however, those wishing to honor a hero and support the Westerville Field of Heroes can sponsor a flag or purchase a flag to be displayed and then retained by the sponsor at the end of the event.
