The Jackson, Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center will be transformed into a sea of red, white & blue during the days leading up to Old Glory’s birthday. Hundreds of United States flags will stand posted in an awe-inspiring formation to honor veterans, who through their actions has honored the flag. This inspiring and memorable display draws Clark County residents together each June. The panorama is hard to describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. As local organizer, Frank Lewis has explained, it is difficult to adequately thank the men and women who sacrifice so much in defending our nation. However, “It’s something we can never take for granted.”
The Springfield Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
Please visit the Springfield Field of Honor® as we remember and honor our national heroes. The Field of Honor® can be visited from June 6th through Flag Day on the 15th.
