An inspiring display of 500 United States flags will be presented during Independence Day weekend at the Lawrence Field of Honor® located at 5440 Herbert Lord Road in Greenfield, IN. This event, themed “First Responders and Military,” is proudly hosted by the Hancock-Lawrence Exchange Club, which has successfully raised funds for over 70 local charities by organizing this field event over the past seven years.
The event honors our military personnel, veterans, first responders, essential workers, and hometown heroes. Each flag tells a story of service and sacrifice, reminding adults and educating the youth that our freedoms have been secured through the bravery of others, many of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives.
You can dedicate a Field of Honor® flag for $20 in honor of individual veterans—both those who returned and those who did not. Flags can also be dedicated to personal heroes, whether current or past. You may collect your flag at the end of the event.
There is no charge to visit the Field of Honor® display, and everyone is invited to walk among the field of flags.
This is an event not to be missed!
