Huntersville remembers the innocent loss of life when hijacked planes crashed into buildings and farmland in unspeakable acts of terror. The annual display of flags in Veterans Park reminds us that freedom has a cost.

This year the town’s 5th Annual Field of Honor® display will be posted at two locations: Veterans Park and Gilead Road – found in the heart of Huntersville. The inspiring formation of 200 United States Flags will bring the community together so adults may remember and youth may learn. It is an experience hard to describe but never to be forgotten. Please visit the Huntersville Field of Honor® display and walk among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
