Huntersville remembers the innocent loss of life when hijacked planes crashed into buildings and farmland in unspeakable acts of terror. The annual display of flags in Veterans Park reminds us that freedom has a cost. The year 2020 is also a stark reminder that American’s survival rest in our unity—a unity symbolized by the Stars & Stripes.
Veterans Park, found in the heart of Huntersville, provides the site for the town’s 3rd Annual Field of Honor Display. The inspiring formation of 100 United States Flag will bring the community together that adults may remember, and that youth may learn. It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. Please visit the Huntersville Field of Honor® display and walk among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge.
