Special Covid-19 Special Notice:
Requirements to slow and halt the spread of COVID-19 remain critical, and our team has and will take all appropriate precautions to do our part. Consequently, we are unable to hold any group gatherings, programs or ceremonies this year; however, we look forward to resuming them in the future.
Please follow social distancing by keeping a six-foot distance between you and other visitors to the event. Thank you for joining us as we all continue to do our part.
Creating an awe-inspiring a panorama, United States flags will fly in a solemn formation at Hudson’s Library Park during May and June of 2020. This stirring display of 1,800 flags will bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to honor our Veterans. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals serving in our military, veterans who have served and first responders who serve our communities. The event is the perfect opportunity for all of us to remember and honor our many heroes who serve and have served to protect us all.
The Stars & Stripes reminds us of who we are as a people. Americans meet the challenges of history and overcome hardships becoming stronger. That is just who we are. The United State flag represents our solidarity in creating a brighter tomorrow.
The Hudson Field of Honor ® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten, and in this year the display signifies hope in the future. We invite all to visit the Hudson Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
