The baseball season may be in question, but the Enid Rotary Club’s 2nd Annual Field of Honor® flag display returns to the David Allen Memorial Ball Park for Veterans Day this year. If ever there was a year when the positive impact of displayed U.S. flags is needed, 2020 calls for the national unity that the Stars & Stripes symbolizes. Atop 7½ foot white poles, 350 United States Flags will fly in tribute to heroes who have earned our gratitude though their service and sacrifice. The legions of American heroes have swollen this year to include COVID-19 heroes who, despite personal danger, have treated the sick, cared for the dying, and provided services for us all.
Already known as the best Baseball Park in small town America, David Allen Memorial Ball Park attracts notable events, and the Enid Rotary Club again brings this amazing event to the field with Enid’s 2nd Annual Field of Honor® display. Ordered in rows and columns, 350 United States Flags will fly in tribute to heroes who have earned our gratitude though their service and sacrifice.
