From November 7th to November 11th, 2025, a stunning panorama of United States flags will be displayed at Jewett Park. This solemn formation of flags serves as a patriotic tribute to honor our heroes and will unite the community. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and carries a unique story. Flags can be sponsored to honor specific individuals, making this event a meaningful opportunity for us all to pay tribute to our many heroes.

The Stars and Stripes remind us of our identity as a people. Americans consistently face historical challenges and overcome hardships, emerging stronger in the process. This resilience is at the core of who we are. The United States flag symbolizes our solidarity in striving for a brighter tomorrow and our unity as a nation.

The theme for this year’s display is “Honoring Our Veterans,” presented by the Village of Deerfield, IL, as part of the Field of Honor® event. This moving display is a gift to the community, made possible through donations, sponsorships, and the efforts of dedicated volunteers. You can show your support by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

This experience is difficult to put into words, yet it will leave a lasting impression. We invite everyone to visit the Deerfield, IL Field of Honor® display and walk among the flags. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Midwest Veterans Closet and the Lake County Honor Flight.
