The Exchange Club of Columbus proudly brings the inaugural Field of Honor® Flag Display along the Broadway median from 13th Street to 10th Street to provide an especially striking sight. Honoring our nation’s flag has a long tradition in Columbus, known as the home of Fort Benning, an important United States Army Post. Both the U.S. Army’s Infantry and Armor Schools make Fort Benning their home. Generations of soldiers have received basic and advanced training at the Fort, and their spirit permeates the community.
Flags flown at the Columbus Field of Honor® display may be sponsored in tribute to individual veterans who returned or those who did not. Also, currently serving men & women and first responders may also be honored. Sponsored for $50 the flags will be received by the sponsors at the end of the event.
The Columbus Field of Honor® is a gift to the metropolitan community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or becoming a business sponsor of the event.
