On the 20th anniversary of the 2001 attacks, the magnitude of loss is revealed by this solemn formation of flags. Terrorists mistakenly believed that their heinous act would divide us when it brought us together. Posted in perfect rows and columns during the days surrounding Patriot Day, the Stars and Stripes will fly in tribute to the victims of 9/11. This event will be held at Arlington Veterans Park located at 3600 West Arkansas Lane during September 4th through September 12, 2021.
The Stars & Stripes reminds us of who we are as a people. Americans meet the challenges of history and overcome hardships becoming stronger. That is just who we are. The United States flag represents our solidarity in creating a brighter tomorrow and uniting us all.
This moving display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships, and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
