Creating an awe-inspiring panorama, United States flags will fly in a solemn formation. This stirring display of 600 flags will bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to honor our heroes. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals currently serving in our Active-Duty Military, Fallen Servicemen and Women, First Responders, Veterans and Hometown Heroes. This unique event is the perfect opportunity for all of us to remember and honor our many heroes.
The Rotary Club of Bentonville adds the community’s second Field of Honor® Flag Display to the city’s list of activities in a moving Veteran’s Day observance. Hundreds of U.S. flags will fly atop 7½ foot tall flagpoles creating a gorgeous scene of red, white & blue.
With Bentonville’s location in the northwest corner of the state, the display may also be easily visited by residents of Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. This presents a great opportunity for the city, the state and three surrounding states.
The Bentonville Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Bentonville Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
