Creating an awe-inspiring panorama, United States flags will fly in a solemn formation from November, 8-15th. There will be a ceremony on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November, 11 at noon.
This stirring display of 250 flags will bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to honor our heroes. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags may be sponsored to honor veterans.
The Rotary Club of Bentonville adds the community’s Field of Honor® Flag Display to the city’s list of activities in a moving Veteran’s Day observance. Hundreds of U.S. flags will fly atop 7½ foot tall flagpoles creating a gorgeous scene of red, white & blue.
With Bentonville’s location in the northwest corner of the state, the display may also be easily visited by residents of Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. This presents a great opportunity for the city, the state and three surrounding states.
The Bentonville Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Bentonville Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. Both the ceremony and flag display are open to the public for free of charge. The new site location will be announced very soon. Don’t miss it!
