One thousand seven hundred and seventy six (1776) U.S. flags, purchased by those who wish to honor their hero, will be flown in a North Texas Field of Honor® paying tribute to veterans, active and reserve duty military, veterans, and 1776 Flags of Freedom during Veteran’s Day week, November 4 – 19, 2023. The full-size flags will have a card with the information of the individual in whose honor the flag was purchased. The flag display will be in front of Keller Town Hall. Flags are either picked up by those who purchased them or mailed to the honored person or purchaser. Net proceeds from the event will benefit Gallent Few and SSGT Alex Viola Foundation
The Rotary Club of Keller, TX, whose 50 plus members are committed to the motto of Service Above Self, is organizing the North Texas Field of Honor®. The Club supports various charities and schools in the Keller area through service and contributions.
The Rotary Club of Keller has contracted with the Colonial Flag Foundation to help organize and properly promote the event. Both the Colonial Flag Foundation and the Rotary Club of Keller Foundation are 501(c)3 charities.
Keller is a vibrant, diverse and patriotic community in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex that has been recognized as “Texas’s Most Family-Friendly City” for its excellent schools, recreational amenities, low crime and high quality of life.
The 46,000+ residents that call Keller home look forward to this breathtaking tribute to our military and first responders each year.
Holding the event at Keller Town Hall will draw a diverse crowd. We anticipate the North Texas Field of Honor® will again receive a significant amount of attention from the media, such as internet, radio, TV and newspapers, throughout the region.
Bear Creek Parkway, which runs in front of Keller Town Hall, is heavily traveled during the week, and evening events at the North Texas Field of Honor® will attract numerous persons.
The North Texas Field of Honor® will bring members of the community from all walks of life together to honor America’s greatest. Along with the pride of being part of such a worthy cause, media coverage alone should return your investment in a way that advertising can never accomplish.
The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
