A characteristic New England town, Newburyport blends seaside location with its long history to provides a striking site for the Exchange Club’s 13th Annual Field of Honor® display of 250 United States Flags flying atop 7½ white poles. These flags fly in honor and remembrance of 9.11, Active Duty Military, First Responders, Essential Workers, Veterans, Covid-19 victims, hometown heroes and all those who by their actions have become heroes in our lives.
The Newburyport Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of dedicated volunteers. You can show your support by sponsoring a flag or making a donation. Flags sponsored for $40 may be picked-up at the conclusion of the display to be retained as mementos of the inspiring event. Visiting the display is open to all without charge.
Walking amid the formation of flags becomes an experience hard to explain but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Newburyport Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. Don’t miss it!
