May 26th – 30th, 2022
2348 Off State Road 522, Questa, NM 87556
During the days leading up to Memorial Day, Taos County’s 18th Annual Veterans Healing Field of Honor® display will display flags on the pasture land of the Claudio Rael family in Questa as the town honors Active-Duty Military, Fallen Servicemen and Women, Veterans and Vietnam Veterans especially those who died defending our nation and our way of life.
There is a story of service and sacrifice surrounding each posted flag to remind the mature and to teach the youth that our freedoms have been purchased by the toil and blood of others with many paying the cost with their very lives. Family, friends and each of us share in the loss of men and women whose lives have been cut short on battlefields of an increasingly dangerous world.
The panorama of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced, it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Healing Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
The Questa display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by making a donation.
