July 2-5, 2020
Indianapolis Regional Airport, 5809 West Airport Boulevard, Greenfield, IN 46140
An inspiring vista of red, white & blue will appear over the Independence Day weekend along Airport Boulevard in Mount Comfort. The Exchange Clubs of Hancock County and Lawrence Indiana join together again to post 800 United States flags in a tribute honoring our military, veterans, first responders and the heroes in our lives.
There is a story of service and sacrifice surrounding each posted flag to remind the mature and to teach the youth that our freedoms have been purchase by others with many paying the cost with their very lives.
The panorama is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
Field of Honor® flags may be sponsored in tribute to individual veterans who returned as well as those who did not return. Currently serving men & women and first responders may also be honored. Flags are sponsored for $30, and they are received by the sponsors at the end of the event.
