Sandy's 7th Annual Patriot Day Healing Field ®
Sept. 10 - 15, 2008
10000 South Centennial Parkway at 150 West
(Sandy City Hall Promenade)
A Special Salute to Freedom
- 1776 flags will cover the lawn in Sandy this year.
- Milestones of Freedom signage throughout the field of flags will depict historic facts of America's Foundation of Freedom.
- Honoring the US Army Reserve 100 yr anniversary.
- A freedom fair for families and children to enjoy and learn
- Patriotic displays and booths throughout the 5 days will help everyone celebrate and honor the freedoms we enjoy in America. Send a message to the troops at the Operation Dear Hero Booth
- Entertainment and a special 9/11 ceremony.

Sandy Healing Field
10000 South Centennial Parkway (~150 West), Sandy
9-10 at 5:00 PM Volunteers gather at the field to set up the flags
9-11 at 6:00 PM Memorial Ceremony and dedication
9-13 at 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wasatch Canyons Motorcycle Ride. Starts and ends at the Healing Field
9-12 – 9-15 programs and displays provided by community groups and organization who wish to sign up for the stage or a spot on the field.

Benefiting Charity
This year’s Healing Field in Sandy will benefit the
Utah Freedom Memorial
project. The
design for this memorial to Utah's heroes will be unveiled at the Healing Field where visitors and media will be introduced to an inspiring monument project that honors all Utah military from statehood to the current war on terrorism.
